Becoming a Questioner

 The art of question

Why do we question?

So many people may have random curiosities much like a child wondering why the world works the way it does, and it drives many like myself to look for answers. That being said the questioning in question comes from a place of uncertainty in my opinion some may even be afraid of said uncertainty, leading to us searching for answers in sciences, math, etc. However, I am very curious to see what you all have questions on. That being said if you want to be led down a fun little rabbit hole I recommend questioning even your questions such as why in my opinion kids have the most neuroplasticity (fancy word for they say why an annoying amount of times) because I believe their questioning is what drives their brain to form new thoughts, questions, aspirations, and more.

Often the answers to life's biggest questions are answered by sciences however if you're also religious like I am then it may end at a point of unsureness that can only be explained by god. Now I personally still wonder when we will reach that point cause much like there will never be a full end to our knowledge. That's why research is such a fascinating thing just when we think we effectively create something from just mere thought.

How do you question better?

My thought behind how to question better is fairly simple, just find yourself deep in thought, then let it drive you to learn more about the subject. Personally, I have found myself staring at a screen thinking "I wonder how the screen even functions, how does just some 'simple' technology make this the biggest advantage we have in the world" While I am sure this answer is very simple to find it is fun to have some cliffhangers in life, especially when the time is not available to get the answer in the first place. Crazy enough that Microsoft created that quantum computer that is so fascinating, life is wild, I recommend trying to understand it.

So what? Why should we bother questioning?

Curiosity is the reason that we understand more about this world. Children can be again the best show of this think of how fun life is as a kid and think of how curious kids are. Allow me to say, that when I started college specifically these hard classes like chemistry and math made me so happy; well why is that? That would be why I have been so happy to learn answers to these insane answers. I have been doing calculus this last quarter, and holy crap I have learned the wildest stuff while I would try to explain it I am rather bad at showing math on a document however if people were curious I may show it and help answer any questions on it.

All that to say, questioning and our pursuit of knowledge has driven people to insane distances and taught the world things that we never thought possible, thankfully you and I get to piggy back off everyone work with little effort with the amazing tools created by these smart people that allow our questions to be answered and for us to gain a better understanding of the world with ease.

This world is crazy and has so much to be discovered about it, tap into that, look for these answers, and let your mind wander; the uncertainty will drive you to do fantastic things.
