The beginning

 The beginning of this journey

The start πŸ’€:

I am currently a running start student at a community college however, I will be transferring to a four-year university to study neuroscience. For clarification a running start student at least where I am from is a student who progresses from just the standard high school education to community college full-time or part-time; in my case, I am a full-time student. But I digress, what got me here was a rough experience in a NJROTC at my high school, making me no longer feel safe at the high school and pushing me towards this amazing program. Additionally, I was pushed over that line when they told me not to do the internship I had signed up for at my local hospital.

This of course wasn't gonna fly with me and I knew that I needed to leave; while I hoped for just a peaceful transition away from the nightmare that was high school for me I ended up getting harassed in the NJROTC program. Causing this process to be set at full speed, and I would be leaving that program immediately and set as the counselor's TA. This event which was at the time feeling like the end of the world as I knew it, was truly the best thing that ever happened to me.

The beginning of a new journey 😎:

After finishing that year which was my sophomore year I was then at the hospital internship working in the children's center helping the therapists there with cleaning and crafts. That program was 100 hours of community service/volunteering and over that time the effects from the event previously mentioned were starting the shed and I was feeling better and better about myself and my life. For context from that event, I gained depression and my anxiety disorder was worse than ever. This was finally starting to decrease and I was feeling more confident and proud of myself again.

While I didn't know it at the time I would meet the most amazing girl in this internship in our introduction meeting that we interns had to attend. I was feeling extremely good there and very confident and struck up many conversations with the interns showing to myself just how much better I was doing. Little did I know that the last person I talked to in the day would be the most special (She'll be mentioned later on).

College 😨: (This section will be longer but is relatively important if you wondering about my academic background.)

The first quarter was fantastic, I remember taking a class on college success, American History, and last but not least English. These classes were all relatively easy (especially in hindsight), and did give me quite a good experience with my new normal of college work. As mentioned before my mystery girl did appear in my history class (I only say mystery girl cause neither she nor I remembered each other from that past summer however she did apparently think about me over the summer). This quarter was relatively simple and uneventful other than me gaining the confidence to talk to people and shedding the standard fear of rejection from my experiences with two people, ironically both had the same name and I thought both went well when in reality they really didn't.

The second quarter, this quarter was when things really started to pick up, I was in semi-harder classes. That being that they were slightly difficult to manage in a way; the classes we Algebra two (a high school requirement), General Psychology, and the English (the next level). Fairly simple classes, not much extra work required other than for Algebra which took maybe 10 hours in total of homework a week. This quarter Mystery Girl was in my psychology class, and we sat right by each other talking the whole quarter, till I finally gained the confidence to ask for her phone number, to my complete and utter joy she gave it to me, and we instantly kept talking on text, and eventually we went to get coffee together which is when I knew this was something special. She seemed to agree cause we went on an official date at Olive Garden (I know so classy) but we both were broke high school students.

While I have done plenty more quarters I don't want to scare you away from boredom so I will wait to write the rest unless you and others show genuine interest in my weird life haha.
